He practices as a professional Negotiator, Mediator and Arbitrator. He facilitates Black Economic Empowerment ownership.  He is an accredited trainer of International Mediators with the Centre of Conflict Resolution at the University of Cape Town.  Les is regarded as a specialist in negotiation and persuaion skills.  He is an arbitrator with the Association for Dispute Resolution and Tokiso and is one of 10 part-time Senior Commissioners with the CCMA in Durban.

Les is a professional speaker and was a part time lecturer for the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal’s Graduate school of Business on the MBA programme from 1983 to 2014.


Norman is a graduate of Cape Town and KwaZulu-Natal Universities. He operated in the Human Resources field in the corporate sector for seventeen years, holding senior group positions.  Since 1986 he has specialised in Industrial Relations and general management consulting.  He lectures on a part time basis at the Graduate School of Business at the University of KwaZulu Natal.   Norman was an ‘A’ Level Commissioner at the CCMA for a period of four years presiding over conciliations, mediations and arbitrations.  Norman is a specialist in training Employment Equity Committees.


Paulos Ngcobo is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. He was formerly a Regional Secretary of COSATU and a member of parliament for the KZN legislature. He is a Business man and sits on the Board of several organization.


WINSTON OWEN is the most recent Director of has a BA Honours degree in from University of Natal, Durban. He also has a diploma in Industrial Relations. He has been a member of the Owen, Adendorff team since 1997.Winston is a specialist in the strategic and practical implementation of Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment, including Employment Equity. He was a founding member of the BEE Verification Agency forum of KZN.

Winston facilitates various Training courses in the area of people skills and management. He is the only trainer licensed to facilitate the “Reducing Workplace Conflict and Stress” workshop on behalf of Thera Rising (USA). Most recently, Winston has developed a programme entitled “Commercial Creativity” which explores and harnesses the creativity of managers and employees. Winston was a part time lecturer at Unischool in Human Resources Management and in the Fundamentals of Business Management. He has also been a guest lecturer on the UKZN MBA programme.



Siphiwe Nkabinde began his career with Unilever. He is presently an associate consultant and trainer with Owen, Adendorff (Pty) Ltd. He specializes in Industrial Relations and Conflict Management.

Siphiwe has extensive community involvement through the Methodist Church, for whom he chairs a number of groups and ministries. He is also a Board Member of the KwaMashu Child & Family Welfare Society that operates in and around KwaMashu He is active as a Lay Preacher on the Methodist preaching circuit (Umgeni Circuit).

Doctor Peter Berry is a twenty-four year veteran of ISO installation. Many years ago he was the Executive Director of the then IPM (Institute of Personnel Management Southern Africa). For 24 years, Peter ran his own ISO business out of New York. He has consulted on and facilitated over 700 varied ISO registrations and accreditations in USA, UK and South Africa. He returned to South Africa in 2011 and became part of the Owen, Adendorff team. Most ISO projects started by him in South Africa have been successfully registered within five months.


TIM Napier is an associate of Owen, Adendorff who is a specialist in project management. He gained his experience through many years of service in a Traffic and Transport Engineering consultancy. His other areas of specialisation include training facilitation in communication, presentation skills, project management and ISO. He is a graduate of UND and is a part time lecturer at Varsity College. Tim is being mentored by Peter Berry in ISO implementation and registration. Tim is involved in a number of community ventures, including working “on the ground” for the Father’s Heart Foundation, which ministers to orphaned and vulnerable children in the Cato Manor area. He is married to Lindsey and has two miracle children.


Amanda has been an associate of Owen-Adendorff since 2007. She is a registered Skills Development Facilitator and assists companies with submission of their Workplace Skills Plans (WSP’s). Her expertise in this field makes her an important part of our Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) consulting team. In 2011 she expanded her into Employment Equity, assisting companies with EE Reporting, post Inspection compliance and practical implementation of Employment Equity, including the guidance of Employment Equity committees. Amanda has a BSc Honours degree from UCT. She is currently completing her Masters in Adult Education from the University of Kwazulu-Natal.  Amanda lectures part time at Varsity College in Durban North and Westville, specialising in Mathematics, Computers and Research modules on degrees and diplomas. Amanda is also a registered Assessor and Moderator.


Bronwyn specialises in sales and customer service. Bronwyn previously built up and ran a dance studio and a health food service company. More recently she worked on a short term project in telesales for a start-up company, generating the first wave of clients for that company, after which she moved into a full time sales position with a plastic packaging company, generating new business and servicing blue chip customers. Her skill and diligence was such that she was offered the role of Sales Manager, which she turned down in favour of moving to Owen, Adendorff & Associates
